I just find it frustrating that given these people have probably only been fans for the past 2/3 years.

No joke the best one was a few weeks ago now I mentioned Paul Dickov and this guy (34) turned around and said I wasn't alive when he played, I kid you not.

well if they are only fans 2/3 years then cook and co. are doing a good job re their global brand aint they the more fans the merrier and its fans that make out that im a big city fan and dont want these new city fans are the ones that piss me off

Yeah thats what I mean mate it's not just the global ones its the ones from over here that see football week in week out on the news and in papers that suggest they know everything about the club but 1 mention of Dickov and they think he was in th 70's

the english ones on facebook that talk about rag baiting and rag this and rag that, whilst obsessing over some crap photoshop with rooney in a city shirt are more annoying. the amount of friend requests i get from 'steve mcfc lghu higgintree' and 'fiona citybird mrsglauber berti mancini' is just disgraceful.

Everything written here is pretty much why i gave up on that facebook page. I couldn't take it anymore. At least it got me off my arse to sign up here.

Where the hell have these people on facebook come from?? I'm linked with City's OS and when they show extended highlights on FB through a link these no marks come on with comments like:

"Come on Man City you the good team from England"
"Why we always draw, poor we always play"

From the Stoke game (comments posted today)
(One from a guy in Norfolk)
"don't think there's any highlights about this match. Crap again!!!"

"What was the score? Didn't get to catch it"
"No highlights if there is No win"

These do piss me off sometimes I've had to remove the OS updates as the comments were pissing me off so much. I seriously don't want these people anywhere near the club.

i try to avoid that facebook page now, every time i read the comments on videos n other status's, it makes me cringe at some of the shit they say and how clueless these people are. So many foreign fans on there who talk the most shit, one said something along these lines " i love manchester city they are best & rule" i just click his profile and there is pics of him with fuckin utd tops on and on tours at the swamp!!!

But it's the foreign fans who are on there saying we should sack mancini and sayin we were shit ect...
and aswell as them idiots you get other foreigners say city are shit and glory glory man utd. Then you get the everton/arsenal fans on there givin abuse n all the other inbred twats.
i always end up losin me rag (no pun intended) on there so like i said, i try to avoid it.

i have nothing against foreign fans alot talk sense but the one's on there are idiots and i dont want them at our club.

i know this isn't strictly bowt the facebook page, but the reason i ended up coming on here is the MEN website is full of the same sort of idiots you get on the facebook page. as for new fans, we're going to get em, end of. hopefully tho, they'll get into our sense of humour, manchester, history of the club etc and not be a bunch of mongs like the lot over in trafford

This is the reason loyalty points will be so important in a few years, you cant get an away ticket for the rags unless you are in the loyalty pot or its Blackburn away. the kid who used to work for me had a season ticket at OT for 4 years and in the 2 years i employed him he got 3 prem away tickets and 2 were Blackburn! Every thursday morning he would be on his phone to listen to the KB from his ticket application.

And also we can't yet call them glory hunters, "project chaser's"
