i find it very useful to keep in touch with all my family in oz and friends all over the world. used to hate having to conjure up emails to each person or writing a one of those group emails no one reads, fb makes it much easier!

You should see the friend request I have from a girl in Kansass. I know of nobody there and have never heard of her, but she is very, very nice! That's just one of the perks! I should answer her really but I can't bring myself to let her down. :)
