As said elsewhere, Willow great for City. Woodhouse Gardens and Dog & Partridge in Woodhouses good for food and beer .... Sul Lago, old Crime View pub is a good Italian.

As others have said Willow Tavern, Steetbridge, Houghton Arms isn't bad an' all. Willow Chippy does a nice Chinese & Yarana on Oldham Road does a decent kebab.

Failsworth born and bred, Willow Tavern is a blue pub, not sure if they still run the OSC from there though, avoid the sun pub-full of rag twats.

Decent bit of countryside on your doorstep in daisynook, decent for on the piss on Oldham Road, decent public transport to get to the game.

Windmill and Nelson are pretty evenly split in regards to blue or red. Nelson is definitely not a rag pub though. All the rags round there go in the Railway on Clayton Bridge or the Eight Bells.
