Falcao or Suarez

I can't believe people actually want him here. Great player and I think he'd fit our system perfectly but he's a massive ****.
We get enough negative publicity already and if we signed this twat our PR dept might as well just pack in now.
We would get slaughtered in the press every single fucking day and they would hound him like they did Balo.
City are trying to win people over, not alienate them.

The way I see it it is mostly people that are relatively new on here that want Suarez at City. They will probably follow a different club soon anyway.
You joined after me

I don't particularly want Suarez but we're a football team and should try to bring in the best players regardless of reputation. I personally couldn't give two fucks if we had a player that was an absolute arsehole so long as he did the business on the pitch. Suarez is a prick, but if we signed him I'd accept that and he'd become our prick. Only thing that puts you off if he does things that get him lengthy bans.

People who would accept Suarez at City, have no respect for the club imo.

They just want results & trophies & don't care how that is achieved, the reputation of the club means nothing.

That's how the rags think.

Cheat, bite, scratch, kick & sing "We do what we want ".

Signing Suarez would imo turn City into a mirror image of the rags. In fact we would be more detestable than them.

Some don't care about that but I do. I'm not supporting a team with him in it & I don't want to sit with people who will sing his name, I'm not going to do it, end of.
What about Bellamy? He was far from a Saint when we signed him.

Same goes for Mario, even Aguero once spat at an opponent, and we are all aware of what Tevez did. I'm sure you have sung their names in the past and the present.

And what about De Foe?

Thankfully, the people holding our purse strings will have a little more intelligence. We (City) are looking to become a global brand - its a business. To get the best players we need more money than other clubs, generated by shirt sales as much as success on the pitch.
Representing our club shirt in a positive manner has never been so crucial. Having players behaving in a; racist, abusive, violent, cheating manner gives a negative impression.
We have always lambasted United for having just these sort of players. I for one, am very proud that we have not and long may it continue. Just as our fans have a good reputation too. It matters.
Saurez, is a proven; cheat, racist and very unsavory person. Thats far too higher price to pay for soiling our reputation as far as im concerned........

No no no, no frickin way. Can you imagine the scene if Rodgers tries to drop Suarez from the first team, he will dine out on the managers head with some fatha beans and a nice chianti

There are a lot of big clubs who have had controversial players and it's done absolutely nothing to harm them. Cantona kicked a fan, Pepe basically assaulted a player for diving, Zidane nutted a player in his last game ever on the biggest stage, Di Caino did a nazi salute and he's now a hero for Sunderland fans. I'm not saying these things are right, they are utterly reprehensible. What I am saying is that the bottom line is always football and any player that has the talent will enhance the 'brand'.

That's not even mentioning the idiom that 'any press is good press'.

I think your argument "it is a business" applies far more to my side here. The argument against Suarez isn't a business minded one, it's an emotional one i.e. "we're better than that!"

Agree 100%. Just like I didn't want us to sign Van Persie for the above reasons, Suarez is also a no go imo.
if you want to be a top club you have to sign players that will fight for trophies and will make us better,

I agree... players like Aguero, Toure, Kompany and Silva, who are able to blend class, ability and grace. Ask yourself this, would Barcelona have Suarez anywhere near there team...? I doubt it very much.

Why wouldn't they Barca are full of cheats who are always diving and moaning to the ref. Guardiola's own BROTHER working as Suarez's agent and you can be sure Bayern will be in for him.

Depends what kind of player we want.
An out and out goal scorer and arguably the best in the world or a creator and decent goal scorer.

That pass from Suarez to Sturridge for the tap in Falcao could only dream of doing. However for the amount of time he has the ball and positions he gets in Surrey doesn't score enough however Falcao is a natural poacher.

If we lose Dzeko then Falcao or Cavani. If we lose Tevez then Suarez because Tevez does so much going forward if we replaced him with Falcao he would be stood around most of the match waiting for the ball and we would suffer.

You have to build in how many matches Suarez will miss during the season as he descends into some new and outrageous episode on the pitch! He's one of the biggest shitehawks in the game. We've had a fair few at City but let's not import a known loon!
him and Pepe and get Joey back - we'll be rockin'

world class.

Don't get this whole falcao isn't creative stuff, did nobody seems his assist against real?
Get falcao now, and hopefully Suarez sticks with Liverpool, let him miss out on Europe next year and we'll take him off their hands.
