These wages are getting out of hand, it's not even funny anymore, people in this world at struggling to make ends meet and these fuckers are getting more money than they could ever spend. Football needs to take a long hard look at itself.

The thing is Blue, football is a Trillion pound business and £250, 000 - £300, 000 per week is lightweight. Especially when you compare this to some American basketball players who get a $1m per game never mind a week.

I call bullshit on any basketball player getting a million a game. They play about 80 games a year and the highest paid player is on $30m a year.

Yeah basketball players have guaranteed contracts compared to footballers

For example Derrick Rose of the Bulls signed a 5 year $95m contract....so work out how much he earns a week

Rags still think its only 200K, which is fucking hilarious considering the loan fee is only 6 million. Most big clubs wouldn't mind paying him that amount for a loan. Has to be 346K which Ogden is quoting. I am also surprised Monaco din't try selling him straight up.

Monaco might be better off banking the Rodriguez fee this season, andnthe Falcao fee next season for FFP purposes.

I very much doubt that. We can't pretend City's players are on anything other than very much the going rate - especially given the size of City's wage bill. What City have done is change the structure so it's a lower basic - there's more than one way to kill a cat. But it doesn't mean they are paid less.

I'd imagine that he'll take a reduced wage if he gets signed on a permanent deal. Once he sees the enormity of the club he's signed for, I'll be amazed if he doesn't agree on £200k a week.
