Saris Bello (friend of Falcao who broke the United news first) has a tweet on her wall which states that the deal is a 10 million euro loan right now and a 55 million euro payment in the next year. It also mentions that this is because of FFP. I know this has done a lot of rounds but does give some credibility considering its coming from her. Still not sure how FFP fits in.

Let us not forget that, on two occasions, doubts have arisen about his age. It has been claimed he is two years older than his stated age. He has also had two serious knee ligament injuries in his career. Undoubtedly a superb footballer.

It's great signing, let's not be bitter, we'd be over the moon if we signed him.
But 360k, if true, is joke really. They better deliver this year and finish in top 4, otherwise it might be nasty for them. Most expensive squad in Premier League ever, huge wages, without Champions League football it would be pretty crappy for them.
In another story, they might get 18 million for bloody Welbeck.

Be crocked by November - the scum hierarchy and fans will be squirming anytime he goes near a challenge. Looks like we´ve been proved right over Van Pussy so expect this to go the same way. A serious injury like his and at his age does not bode well. The scum must be looking for the dodgiest insurance cover they can get if they want to take on the guarantee of full payment next summer

I wish them to rot in League 2 but unfortunately, they need about 10 years of misery to disappear, otherwise their money will always launch them to fight for top stuff.

But it still has to amount to very reasonable expectations of earning the big bucks. Otherwise they would leave. It really as simple as that, however it's dressed up. These guys signed new contracts, they aren't going to do that for a pay cut.
