Does anybody have any reservations about such an expensive signing. Where is he likely to play, alongside aguero? - aren't they both finishers?

Not bothered about the fee, but a little concerned about his age. I suppose at 27 he still has probably 5 top years left, so he'll cost us about £10m a year. Just wished he was a couple of years younger!

Still a good time for us to be buying 27 year olds who can produce right now IMO. Academy is far off and anyone who can get it punching deeper into Europe sooner rather than later will be welcomed.

I would wager Falcao is off to Chelsea with Mou who also seems likely to be given the boot later today.

All the talk was we were bang after Cavani, a long time Bob signing but given his departure, do Txiki and Ferran still see him as the answer?

Cavani would fit in better IMO but no one could complain if we got Falcao instead. Either would give us the clinical edge we badly need. Even last season we wasted a lot of good chances despite scoring many goals (through more chances created).
