Sorry mate I had a nap before my final 12 hour shift tonight.

Yes collect everything u can pretty much everything is useful even fill up your companions storage space by speaking to them and trading. As for the power Armor I'd seriously save using it till later on in the game the Fusion Cores are very and I think 500 bottle caps to buy (expensive) don't rush through the story mode do all the side quests you'll open up plenty of the map and level up faster.

The workshops are so u can build a safe settlement for your settlers. To get better falls and defense's u need to go around collecting Magazine's throughout the open world.

There's so much to do mate it's unbelievable probably things I've not even come across yet. If u look on Youtube u can get some tasty weapons early on like a large deathclaw with does plenty of damage and helps u save bullets.

Pretty much it mate anything else give me a shout :)

building the teleporter but isnt working? everything is powered up and connected but when i ask the guy from the minutemen (who im with) all the option are how to build each part which i have already done?

might do some sidequests cause map is barely touched atm :P

I had that problem too; you need to make sure all the parts are on the same network of wires and are all linked together
