Probably like most City fans , i'd never even heard of Jim Tolmie before he joined us ...... but i've never forgotten him since that's for sure!

He was one of my all time favourite City players , and a player of great skill and vision ..... what a partnership he formed with Parlane ..... they had goals coming out of their ears.

A terrific signing ..... and by the sounds of it a top bloke too.

Let's get him down to the piss up next saturday night .

totally underrated. I was 7 or 8 when he joined and he just made me sit up and take notice. Baker, Mcnab and Parlane were simplydancing to his beat.

I remember that every time I went into Sandpipers, he was there propping up the bar.

Used to see him in the Sandpiper most lunch times after training. He stayed at the hotel when he first moved to City.

Had a great first season with Parlane. Not sure what happened in the second season but he hardly got a game. If you're reading Jim, what happened? Did you have a fallout with Billy McNeill? Shame really, you were a natural goalscrorer.
