I'm going out on a limb here - you didn't go to school in Manchester did you?

Keith Fielding was my PE Teacher at Marple Hall.

He played both codes at international level, representing England in rugby union, from 1969-1972, before taking to the league pitch for Great Britain and Salford.

Fastest rugby player in the world at one point

Fielding also won the television sports challenge Superstars in 1981.

he also captained England ( union ) Great Britain ( League ) and I think remains the only rugby player to do it.

Blue til Death............he was my PE Teacher also at Marple Hall

Him and Keith Mcinnes mate, I was there from 75-80 happy days

Either of you lads remember David Waite, he taught biology but was also in charge of the cross country team, not famous except for being a twat of a form teacher.

It was Alan McInnes btw.

Can recall nearly all of them, especially cook, what a twat he was, maths and a sideline of table tennis to get him access to the changing rooms, if only we knew then what we know now.
If you arrived in Sept 75 our paths will have crossed for no more than 7days, that's how long I lasted in 5th year before Saville decided enough was enough and slung me out, which was nice.

"you are by far the worst pupil this school has ever known" I sometimes wonder if my record still stands...

'The Hooded Rapist' from the 1980s who raped and sexually assaulted over twenty females, mostly students in and around the Manchester University library and student complex.

I won't mention his name as he's out now.

Debbie Moore who owned Pineapple Dance ( and incidentally lived across the road from me as a kid). Ian McShane also went to the boys school.
