I left in 1991 mate. You?

I am from the manor '92 we had a few good run ins with woods lane around that time :)

Haha! I remember chasing your lot off a fair few times.

Never had any real beef with The Manor though, it was them cafflicks up the road at St. James' that often got taken down a peg or two.
Haha not in my day

Simon Wright - Drummer in AC/DC, Dio, UFO etc.
Darren Wharton - Keyboard player in Thin Lizzy.

Having said that, I was sure that Mani went to the same scool until somebody on here set me straight.

That was me.

Mani went to Xaverian 1974 - 1979.

Yeah I know mate, you ruined my claim to fame ;) (Although he did come to my Grans in Newton Heath for a cup of tea with me once).
Still a pretty deccent amount of musicians came out of a small area of Failsworth considering the size of it.

Oh, one of my mates told me that he was the leader of the race riots that went on around there at the time. I wasn't as impressed as he hoped I might be.

Kings, Macc eh? You failed the MGS entrance exam then.

Amazingly I passed the MGS entrance exam, but after serious consideration chose Stockport Grammar, as no moderators attended, and they had a convent school next door, as well as pubs and bookies within walking distance.

PMSL.

Didn't take it.

Kings did hammer MGS at rugby; although I must confess I was only a squad member. Stupid game.

Another bunch of pansies that Kings used to trample over.

Didn't realise the rivalry went all the way back to the Boer War, Colonel?
