Famous people at your school

So I'm the only bluemooner who went to school in Chorlton? Unbelievable.

I used to play cricket with lads from Chorlton High if that helps.

Ed Sheeran and John Noakes went to my school according to Wikipedia. One many years before me and one many years after. Of ones there at the same time as me I'm on son's of famous people I'm afraid. Joe Royle's and Jimmy Cricket's!

Liam and Noel Gallagher

Barlow high, went there myself. They both went St bernards same as me too.

My girlfriend went to St Bernards . She was in Liams class .

Noel went when it was St Marks - it changed to Barlow when they merged with the Hollies around 1984/5.

When it was St Marks - Mark Lillis went as well as Alan Mcloughlin (scored the goal that sent Ireland to the 94 World Cup finals)

When it changed to Barlow - Liam G
went also Adam Gillen (Ginger Liam from Benidorm)

I went to Farnworth Grammar School as did our old manager Alan Ball & also another World Cup connection Kenneth Wolstenholme of the now famous quote"they think it's all over.....it is now!"

Can I turn this into - what school did you go to? So disappointed that no one posts from my school :(

What school did you go to?

It doesn't even exist anymore - you are going to laugh at the name of my school though it was Yew Tree High :(
My best mate went there. You'll be glad to know that the brother of the former lead singer with Sad Café went there ;-) If I remember correctly, he wore the Yew Tree tie on TOTP when singing 'Every Day Hurts'.
