As for who are the mods (heroes, one and all. Apart from the S****s lover obviously); click on the three horizontal lines under the ship logo, click on "members", then click on "staff".

You can actually have a legit conversation. Sure some don't like a player but they state their reasons and even if you don't agree.. it's not blind hate or saying shit to get attention/ clicks.

If you want negativity go on the player performance threads after 1 pre season game. (not even mentioning match day thread!) Absolutely rammed with we are doomed posters.

This is something we are going to clamp down on moving forward. Constructive criticism is fine, but posters who dominate those threads by relentlessly slagging players off will be thread banned. As always, reports from other users help greatly in this regard.

I have no issue with people having an opinion if they are able to back it up with solid evidence, but I'm fucking fed up with seeing so-called City fan accounts on social media slagging our players off for for fuck all. It's weird, and cunty and I'm pretty sure some of them only do it for engagement which is why I rarely click on them, let alone interact.

Internet followers is probably the best way to describe them, I think to call them fans would be a mistake, creating a 'fake/parody' type profile and posting about shite about City players doesn't make you a fan.

To be fair, he's not the only one. I can think of at least a dozen grindingly negative posters on here, off the top of my head. Which is their prerogative, of course. It wouldn't be my outlook but, to use that old cliché; the place would be boring if we were all the same.

This doesn't really affect me, purely because I avoid these types of accounts. They're seeking attention and engagement, and repeat the same shite jokes every account of every other club makes

I do follow City Xtra on twitter though, as they're a very good aggregator and I like having all my news in one place. That said, they were out of order quite a few times last season with slagging the players off, calling them embarrassing, pathetic, a disgrace to the club etc.

I don't care how shit we've played, there's never any need for that, and it lowered them to the level of the rest of these barrel-scraping 'fan' accounts. They seem to take what they do seriously so you'd expect them to be a bit more responsible with such a large audience
