Fans back at the Etihad

Current proposals are looking like 22% of capacity or 34% depending on the interpretation of 1 metre.

The extra 12% comes from measuring from centre of head and not taking into account average body size. so I am thinking 22% more likely.

12k to 19k, I would not mind that.

I'd be amazed if more than 10k are allowed into our ground. Social distancing needs to end before we allow more than 1 in 5 back in.
Seperate entrances/exits (1-2m gaps getting in & out) no concessions, 2m gaps on the concourses to name a few reasons.
You can't have people sitting on the same row as people need to be able to pass that row to get to/from their seats at any time.
We're a season away from it.

Or the early leavers they’d still fuck off with 15 minutes to go even if there’s only 200 fans in the ground

The Sports Grounds Safety Authority think you can:

People will need to be seated in order, or directed to seats as they enter, there will be no movement during the game and one way systems. At half time it won't work if some people want to stay ad others go so I can see it being reduced to 2 households on teh same row, which could be 10 people or 2.

By the time you take out all those who won't go back until there is a vaccine, those that want to go for a piss several times during the game, those that go for a HT pint ten minutes before HT & then come back ten minutes after the second half has started and all those early leavers then I reckon I'll be able to go to all games.

Are they going to use VAR to decide, wiggly lines to confirm distance?

Hilarious.....

Another EMBARRASSMENT for Man City with Zoom blunder in defeat to Arsenal.

Manchester City are often teased for not having fans, which is perhaps a bit of an unfair cliche as most teams will struggle to fill their big stadiums every now and then.

However, it is pretty embarrassing to see City resorting to using duplicate fans on the screens that allow supporters to tune in and cheer the team on via Zoom…

I have a horrible feeling we're never going back, as in full crowds ever again.

In Poland for a few days and watched 3 games, 25% restriction but interesting how all 3 grounds didnt enforce spacing in the singing / ultra sections!

Also at 2 grounds beer on sale and at the other nothing at all from any kind of kiosk.

Hands sanitized and face masks to enter.

I think people saying no full grounds ever again are way off the mark, even without a vaccine. The matchday experience will be different, sanitizer, facemasks on entry and no beer on sale imo.Not a bad thing with the piss on sale at City.

I'd be willing to risk it for a biscuit. But only if sensible precautions are in place, and I'd guess the interpretation of "sensible precautions" will vary significantly from person to person.

Which games did you go to? I had been thinking of going myself and regret not going
