Fans Leaving QPR Early

I couldn't of left early if i'd wanted to, my body was slumped in my seat and my legs didn't work!

It's depressing at times, the number of people who leave early. I don't have a problem with those that leave after two minutes of three minutes added time, but thems that leave ten minutes before the end do my head in.

So many games are won and lost in the last ten minutes, what are they going to the game for? A comfortable 25-0 scoreline after 75 minutes!

I've no sympathy for them at all.

Maybe they'll wake up one day and think about giving the team a bit of support when they need it most, rather than, well, I don't know, whatever it is they leave early for.

Just like the early leavers against Villarreal when Kun scored the memorable last second goal. Just like the early leavers against Spurs when Mario converted the last ditch penalty. Will people ever learn, we're a play-till-the-end team now and some of our recent greatest moments - including THE greatest moment in the history of our club - have happened after 90 minutes.

Never left a game early at home or away, but I have to admit that after flying in from the States in '99 for the Play Off Final, I asked my younger bro' if he wanted to leave just before the end, because I was absolutely knackered after being up for about 40 hours by then. He gave me a dirty look and shake of the head and that was that! Stayed and vowed NEVER to even bring it up again!

In a similar vein, my Bro' never bought a program me all season and read my sister's (we all have SCs together) whenever there was something he wanted to see. Against QPR, I had heard from someone in the City Store that they were running out around the ground, so I picked up two....without telling him! At 90 mins, I thought I had better not tell him or give it to him. About an hour later, when we were ready to leave, I turned to him and said, "Here you go! Glad I can finally give it to you. You definitely weren't getting it if we lost, because I would have been blamed forever!"

Now, I feel like we are (almost) even, and he has a great souvenir of the best day in his City lifetime! :-)

If you leave early can you sell that unused portion of your seasoncard on the new ticket exchange thingy?

Those people that left early will regret it for te rest of their lives, even if we hadn't won the team were doing a lap of appreciation, surely it was worth staying just for that! Ah well, those of us in the stadium more than made up for it

Ive got little sympathy to be honest. It was never a thought that even crossed my mind

Same here, absolute pricks. After the season we'd had the players deserved an ovation regardless of out come.

I cant understand for one minute why anyone would have left early. Even if we had missed out the players deserved an ovation for their efforts over the course of the season.
I agree but the pain was probably unberable at the miunute, dosen´t make it right though.
