Because we are into the period where transfers and team selections can be made for the next game week.

I expected it would do that after the round of fixtures. He’s showing in red on my team for this weekend and so I thought he must be injured but it says that.
If it did it after the round of fixtures, people doing transfers now might not be aware that he would miss the next game.

Don't think the leaders will be looking over their shoulders at me this weekend. A grand total of 4 pts from two players so far (Senesi and Van Der Ven). Muniz didn't play last night, and Bergvall hasn't come off the bench so far at the land that time forgot.

His price will be likely rising tonight for anyone still in the water not yet on the boat.
From an initial 7.0M to a potential 7.9M, his price has rightfully gone up more than anyone's.

Correct, and so for while GW7 is currently under way and GW8 is there for selecting, there are 2 EVE players with a red flag:
KDH - ineligible for GW7 (5 yellow card 1 GW suspension)
Grealish - ineligible for GW8 (can't play vs. City GW8)
KDH's red will be removed once GW7 concludes, where he'll stay firmly on my bench for GW8 given his opponent! ;-)

Yeah I cost myself a bit of money not hitting confirm on my transfer for him on Monday. Still enough in the bank to swap Reijnders for Foden next week though so not the end of the world.

Him or his coach. Amazing what Iraola is doing there after losing some key players from last year's squad that just missed out on European football. Dominic Solanke, Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen, and Illia Zabarnyi all left, and they have reloaded to have quite the team. And they're winning without a FWD who is pretty much currently a bad FPL pick too.
I'm generally happy for them too, and am enjoying cheering them on in most all but 2 matches in the EPL.

It seems he has had five yellow cards, but the Moyesiah has said they've spoken to PGMOL, who have seemingly acknowledged that two of the cards are wrong...
Have they been scrubbed then? As I said, the FPL app isn't flagging him as banned.
It will have shown prior to this game week starting. Hes been booked 5 times so 1 match ban.
