I'm not running out of patience with Pedro yet (mainly because of the fixtures) but I might be in a couple of weeks. Really poor xg from him again today.

Mateta's xg was off the scale today, 3.48, so he actually underperformed ;) I wonder who the last player to better that xg was? Even Haaland hasn't got close this season.

Thoughts on Enzo if he's fit? I feel as though it's getting close to the right time to sell Kudus. I think I have another route to Sarr.

I haven't owned once all year, and have no temptation to go there either.

There was a JP fire sale as the deadline hit last night, and I suspect we'll both need to be watching our FWDs pricing for other moves needed. I can afford one Gyokeres price drop, but not two.

Of course he'll start scoring once I dump him, so will see there. Patience thus far this year has been paying off, so time will tell.

He should have had that 4th goal at the end too, but I'm not complaining at all.

His xG has been great since I picked him up on a GW4 WC, and he was (over)due for a performance like that. And none of you and I are going to kick ourselves for not captaining him either as he had blanked 2 weeks in a row. We're too high up to get fancy. Having him today in the starting lineup was enough for me.

That's a big IF right now and Kudus still has a game to play tomorrow, so I'm not even thinking of him going anywhere yet. Today's one move sets me up for the same route you are looking at, but I'm in no hurry there either given the GW09 fixture. I don't see the price rising as a result, so patience on who to take out can be taken. Pep's 58 minute action today didn't help someone as is obvious too.

He's got Sunderland, Wolves and Burnley, Two at home in the next Four fixtures, It's impossible to sell at this stage, and he would need to drop to 7.4m before I lost money. Those fixtures are why I'm thinking about Enzo as well. I'll see if he's involved midweek if he's not then I'll probably roll a transfer, but the next Six fixtures aren't great for spurs, hence my thinking with Kudus.

I wasn't keen on bringing Gyokeres in and did it against my better judgement, he doesn't pass the eye test as far as I'm concerned. I sold Wirtz for Semenyo after one game, for the exact same reason, sometimes it's just better following your gut instinct, for me it is anyway.

Mateta's XG was the reason I got him, he was a clear 2nd behind Haaland despite only scoring Two before today. He's PL proven , 30 goals from less than 60 PL game's in the last Two seasons (before today) show's that he's not another high XG player who can't score goals like our old friend Nicholas Jackson.

I made a last minute decision to put alderete (6pt) on the bench for lacroix (1pt).

Was convinced Alderete would either start on the benchbor get subd having played for paraguay in the int break. He played the full 90 and got a clean sheet...
