oh no, going through jonesy, all there together, hope i ve not booked for a gay soccer tournament by mistake... i pick mine up from city s ground next week and i get 30 points for each ticket
You're getting your tickets through Jonesey but you still get loyalty points from the club? How does that work?

Not that it matters to me, mind - what use do I have with loyalty points when I'm stuck in the middle of the U.S. - I'm just a bit curious as to how the club manages that in cases like this.

Gonna try 108 or 111 me, its the only way ya'l deffo get spotted on the telly ;-) tho blaggin 110/109 would be tops !
Do you know something I don't re these games being televised? I imagine FSC might pick one or both of them up, but I haven't heard anything confirmed there.

Besides, who cares if you get your face on TV or not? I really don't give a flying fuck that we're up in one of the corners - The important thing is that we're all there together.
Dont actually give 2 fucks bout the tele bit personaly it were said in humor, that said its hardly old friggin trafford so wont be lookin to be sat in the gods juss to be in away section all together ! (think fulham)

I shall be flying out of ORD at 10 A. 7/22, arriving at LGA 1:15, and leaving Monday AM about 7A 7/26. I got my flights about 10 days ago, for $233 round trip. I shall know how many tix I need for the matches today...my friend is bringing his wife, so he is now on her schedule. PW.

I have seen multiple advertisements for all NYC Challenge games to be on Fox Soccer Channel. And as long as you do not see me on the telly, then perhaps I am not really there at all. Just like a fan of the invisible man. Sometimes that is best.

NEblue i see manc humour is lost on you, when i said going through jonesy i meant..well think about it.. i live in manchester and i am picking up my tickets at citys ground..hence the 30 points for each ticket..the night before and the night of the match i think everyones heading back to the hatter..see you there... hey gymshoe i once got lost in chicago..looking for ORD some mexican looking person pointed me in the direction of Midway...still made my plane though

I live in the middle of Flyover Country - We've only recently gotten electricity, so don't expect us to have discovered humor already, as well. Baby steps, my friend, baby steps.

I have iffy memories of Midway, too, though, so thanks for that. ;) A couple of years ago, I had gone up to Michigan to watch my uni's hockey team playing away, and we'd found it was somehow cheaper to fly into Chicago and then take a rental car to East Lansing than it would've been to fly into Detroit and drive from there. Anyway, on our way back to Chicago to catch our flight home to Omaha, just as we got into the car park at Midway, we experienced a massive blizzard with about 13 inches of snow coming down over the course of an hour and a half. We ended up having to take an 11-hour train ride home. Nightmare!<br /><br />-- Sun Jun 20, 2010 7:55 pm --<br /><br />

Hah, I've got a similar situation with the people coming with me. My friend is bringing his wife, as well, but at least all our work, etc schedules are pretty flexible, so that's been easy enough.

I think this will be the first time in New York for all three of us, though, so I'm really looking forward to it.

pissed--consider yourself fortunate he sent you to MDW instead on 63rd and Blackstone...

NEBlue-- I have got this suite in the past via hilton points...I told my friends all they had to do was buy plane fare, and 4 nights on Broadway is covered, my friends wife said to hubby lets go! Gotta love those point programs. I am going to use then this winter for my first Mancurian adventure...ten days at Deansgate...or two weekends there with a trip to Ajax FC in the middle. I wonder if Ajax will play on a Wednesday...nevermind.

You'll love it. I've unfortunately only been to Manchester once myself - I did a long weekend there and in Liverpool when I was over two years ago - but I had a fucking brilliant time. I'm dying to go back.

NEBlue stay close to Jonesey he is a legend!!!! Dont tell him you know me as he might woman slap you LOL!!! I will be in Bangkok at the time...oh well enjoy the Big City.

Oh if you are flying via ORD-and trust me on this one-FLY EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The afternoon ORD-LGA/EWR can be a fucking nightmare!!!

I think that the 30 miserly points for the NYC games is a joke! I also thought the ticket prices via City were also dreadful so We just went direct onto ther Stadium website and booked from their. The tickets are printed off when payment is made and we saved a few £sss! We are also sited behind the goals for both games and not stuck up in the corner! Anyway, you should be used to being stuck in corners (Liverpool, Totte...(cant write it sorry) Rags, Chelsea. Everton blah blah blah!

Three of us are staying in the New Yorker which is a 20 minute stroll to the Mad Hatter and hopefuly will be able to hitch a ride on these coaches from the MH?
Can't wait!
