People fawn over posters who have access to gossip within the club. It's interesting as far as it goes, but I can tell you for an absolute certain fact that players, mates of players. and mates of mates of players do not know who the club are going to sign. No exceptions. They don't know.
I've had many a long converstaion with a first team player who left in 2009 and he only ever knew about as much as us about likely transfers and no more.
You are defo ITK, couldnt agree more with you Mammutly! The only time we will know is when its done and dusted.

chicks right ricster mate.....we (mods) dont have the time to read every post and monitor every thread.....you the posters have a part to play and an input into this....We have requested that the posters report any abuse, etc. Unless this happens, we (mods) wont know there is an issue unless we are directly involved in the thread.
If the posts aren't reported we dont pick up on them

Just to reiterate what the other MOD's have said, use the the report button, no will know apart from the Mods who has reported the post.

All this talk about 'ITK's' - people get so worked up about it but if you don't believe what is being posted, don't read it. It's not difficult.
For what it's worth, I'd be absolutely amazed if Tolmie wasn't posting genuinely, it is obvious that he has some knowledge from inside the club. Rumours and transfer talk get us all through the summer and this place would be a lot poorer without people like him.

What you'll get is posters giving out a load of abuse BUT because the posters it is directed at are adults they will either ignore it or give a bit back. If you're "ITK", choose to share information and then do so in a cryptic way... you deserve all the abuse that comes to you.
Put it all out in the open, or don't post it on a public forum.
Secondly, Ricster... this forum has no 'star players', there's no contracts and people are free to come and go as they please. Don't let some off the muppets who like to build up a 'reputation' or a 'persona' on Off Topic have you believe otherwise, its just plain sad.
What i've found over the years is that for the hundreds of claimed ITK's i've seen no more than 3-5 accurate ones... WUMing isn't entertaining or fun, people like URG were respected for a reason, Ajay gets abuse because he's rarely right nor forthcoming with actual details.
