Can't believe we're onto page 5 with no real abuse yet. I read a lot of the stuff on 'It's Quiet' and couldn't really see any abuse that would warrant someone getting that pissed off. We're all adults, and if someone says something that you think is over the top then you can just PM telling them to fuck off....surely that's how most adults would respond?

Just to reiterate what the other MOD's have said, use the the report button, no will know apart from the Mods who has reported the post.

What you'll get is posters giving out a load of abuse BUT because the posters it is directed at are adults they will either ignore it or give a bit back. THEN the poster who started the abuse will press the big fuck off complain button & if his cry for help isn't acted on how he wishes will create a thread then about how they are being abused but not protected by the mods.
I bet mods wish they could just say FUCK OFF.

I'll take that as the 2nd dig you have gave me in this thread, but hey, i am man enough to leave things in the past and forget about the constant abuse of being called a liar. Over and over.

Some people on here could do with learning the same!

having said that, if you are going to post "inside Info", like someone said before, you will get called out on it. there are too many wind ups to just believe what people say without question.
i remember getting a load of grief for asking a simple question when i first signed up, and it was nothing "topical" neither.
there are some posters who tend to give people shit on here just for the sake of starting an argument. but if you DO leave yourself open to speculation, it is your own fault, surely?

Different people have different ways of handling things, and some aren't as strong minded as you and i.

I kind of see both sides. the ITK talk is interesting and livens the place up at a time when there is nothing else to talk about. What I don't understand is why supposed ITK's get offended and pack their shit up and leave when questioned. It's natural to be cynical, just accept that, post whatever info you may or may not know in good faith and keep it moving. The only way to stop the cynicism is by being proved right. That's why Spursmad was the best ITK the board has every seen. No funny business, this is who you are buying and when. His only mistake was using the words done deal for deals that were close but yet to be done.

I happen to believe Tolmie, but I think he was being over the top by leaving as he wasn't really catching any abuse.
