FAO the Club, I know you read this site

Plastics cans ( if you know what i mean ) would work wouldn't they ?

The same could be said of plastic bottles.
I would imagine that the club and the Police want as few potential missiles available as possible and what happens when the weather gets a little warmer? They'd need an awful lot of fridges.

why dont they just get some people to walk round on the concourse with beer strapped to the back an can pour it into cups as well as the bar..... they do this at the M.E.N for me it will be lot quicker.

My mate Jase has the patent on the multi pint dispensers and built and installed the units in Mary D's. He approached Manchester City Council when the stadium was under construction. They refused to pay the £1300 quid a pop for six pint dispensers and also said they couldn't be seen to encourage 'binge' drinking (yawn) which the faster service could cause. Load of bollocks, they were just being cheap.

As others have suggested, the club should consider introducing a 'chargecard' system, whereby you electronically pre-load the card with funds either on the internet or at charging points points around the stadium. This frees up bar staff from having to handle cash and instead the card is swiped and the money deducted automatically. This system is widely used in the Bundesliga and works well (and the Germans like their beer as much as we do).

As regards the use of multi-pint dispensers, this has been raised at several points of blue meetings. The club's position is that they are limited as to how many of these they can install as they have very little cellar space.

They should just let you bring your own and charge about three quid for the privilege, they make up on reduced bar costs and we no longer pay nearly £4 for a pint of piss. Everyones a winner.

This is not a completely serious proposition before anyone questions my sanity and I have personally given up on the bar and food at the ground, it's not worth aggro and if the half time entertainment is continually as good as lasts weeks, well we are spoilt.

This method has also been used in high schools in the Manchester area. Speeds up waiting time dramatically.
More plastic bottles and cans, cold packaged food e.g. Sandwhiches, Wraps...

Staff need to be trained as well as half of them are clueless and very slow.

Sort it out City for next season.

That entertainment treat made me go and stand in a queue and I didn't want anything!!

I think we need those zig zag barrier systems - pay - collect - go
They do work - cut down on the pushing-in and arguments and when the dopey staff don't know who is next to be served.
