You sound like you were being a bit of a dick imo, if the polish couple had there seats reserved you should have got up, there are five people mentioned in this situation (yourself, off duty police officer the"shit bag" and the polish couple) four of the five seemed to think you were in the wrong, you were the one doing the cursing and slapping a sleeping person, not a very big thing to do, and your "if I got off I would have killed him" shit doesn't wash either, you had your chance the train stopped you saw him get off but you decided to stay on so don't turn round now and say I could have done this or that, lets leave that to the 12 year olds. As for him being a disgrace for starting on a fellow blue what does that make you for slapping a fellow blue when he is laying sleeping with his eyes closed?
