Has anyone ever taken these/have some info on them? I don't mean like dodgy stuff thats glorified speed I mean legal supplements like stuff with green tea in etc (I go past the place linked below and they have quite a lot of stuff- can anyone recommend a product?)

I don't use them, much of the supplement world is 'magic beans' to me, but people I know who still use this type of stuff recommend 'Ultimate stack' from Elite-nutrition and 'Warrior Blaze'.

Don't know what your build is like or what you're trying to achieve but i tried something called eph25 on recommendation of a bodybuilding friend, matched with going to the gym and a clean diet, get ripped pretty quick

Me and ban-mcfc have both taken the Forza T5's Super Strengths; <a class="postlink" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Forza-Strength-Burners-Thermogenic-Slimming/dp/B0059JRRUI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.amazon.co.uk/Forza-Strength- ... B0059JRRUI</a>

It's fantastic, gives you an energy boost, reduces appetite (although it's still to be taken with a good diet, it's not a meal replacement) and helps burn fat faster. Up to you decide if it's a 'glorified speed' though. I know ban-mcfc told me he had to come off them as he was dropping loads of weight and was soon nicknamed 'Mr Burns' or something. First two or three days are a bit mad until you're used to it though, and if you're not used to caffeine I'd drop down a level as these are strength 3.

I tried some of these when I started going back to the gym. Apart from banging headaches, not being able to sleep and the shakes I did lose some weight but i feared going insane and stopped taking them

Im 13 st 5'11. I going to the gym 4/5 times a week and doing a lot of swimming, just want to get to 12.5 st and reduce fat round the bottom of my stomach.

I have decent muscle mass- the top of my '6 pack' is showing but do not want to become 'huge' or anything like that- just want a more toned body.

I used xedra for trial purposes. I suggest not to take it at all.

Didnt make a difference whatsoever. Whilst taking them i noticed i was sleeping more and feeling more lethargic than before. I didnt finish em cos of how I was feeling. So i stopped and instead took up running daily, running early morning 7am for 3 km. Did the trick!

If u wanna burn fat quick there are various methods. But a safer approach would be to drink gunpowder green tea. 2/3 cups a day should do the job. Not any kind of green tea, try organic.

I already drin gunpowder green tean from Frotnum and Mason and love it, but only one cup a day- so I should drink more then, easy!!

7 strong cups of coffee a day will get your bowels moving making you feel more lively and want to do more excercise which will give you a better sleep.

Drink some cider vinegar too.

Eat stewed tomatoes (from a can if you like) flavoured with some black pepper for a week to help flush you clean.

Stick to mostly salads and never buy bread.

Run 500 meters further than you did the day before each day.

Do 100 sit ups when an ad break comes on weather you're watching tv or not.

This is what I do when I want to lose some weight over a month or so.
Its tried and tested but you need to be dedicated.

I am not joking.

Don't really fancy drinking 7 cups of coffee a day, I'd be off my box!

Thermadrene, T5 and Stacker2... used them all.
And they worked... went from 13st 8lb to 11st.... did a lot of sit ups as well and stopped eating shite...

There was another one that raised the body temp slightly to burn more 'fuel'... tried it but didnt like the thought of it long term...

A more common one is ephedrine....

The T5's at the gym I used to go to contained Ephedrine.

No I have never tried any and would not try them the best way to get in shape is to eat right, do the right amount of cardio/weight training. All these quick fixes come at a price and remember that some of these companies churning out these supplements are just out for a profit. So what if you drop dead of a bloated heart at 40? At least you looked good for a few years.

Just train hard and your body will respond when you start manipulating natural functions no good ever comes from it.

Well this is my problem I think, I played football to a good standard which meant I was training/playing 5 times a week until Jan 2011 when I suffered a dislocated knee this means I now hardly play at all. I was always in very good condition and as I trained a lot I could eat whatever I wanted but after the injury I still kept on eating the same as a force of habit yet could not burn it off! I went from 11.5 stone to 13.5. Im now 13 and have added decent muscle mass just need to get rid of a bit of fat. Im training hard nut diet is deffo an issue, I'm doing a lot of swimming and the first thing I want to do afterwards is eat and Im clearly eating the wrong things!

Well you seem to know your problem just make sure you do the right amount of cardio with your weight training. 10 minutes on the incline stepper at its highest level at a brisk pace after your work out. Eat the right food and limit your alcohol intake. Or train harder when you know you have had a session. Dont mess with these fat burners your body knows and responds to things naturally dont start messing around with that. You will only regret it later in life on that note im off to the gym. Good luck.
