Favorite Oasis Lyrics?

live forever

Lately did you ever feel the pain
In the morning rain as it soaks you to the bone

or
married with children

I hate the way that even though you
Know you're wrong you say you're right
I hate the books you read and all your friends
Your music's shite it keeps me up all night, up all night

Fade Away
While we're living the dreams we had as children fade away

Hello
The years are falling by like the rain

I love Married With Children as well. Also agree with TMQ about Columbia. One of my favourite ever songs.

All fairly simple and short but they're the ones that probably mean the most to me. I love Oasis but have to agree that Noel has penned some bad songs and some lyrics aren't great but he does hit the nail on the head on some occasions.

I can't tell you the way I feel because the way I feel is oh so new to me.

Best description of being pilled up little Noely ever wrote although Liam has always claimed to have had some lyrics in this and to be fair 'There we were now here we are' is a fairly Liam esque thing to say.
Them all over. Never been a massive fan of Oasis, but felt a sense of pride about them? Loved Def maybe. Them bolded words are fucking lines. That song is their best by far.

Probably my favourite Oasis although I'm prone to changing my mind. I do rate Noel as a lyricist at times and that line for me just sums up that feeling when you're coming up and it's all exciting and new.

That whole song encapsulates anything new

True. It's the long fucked up ending that gets me on that tune class.

PS - Been meaning to ask for ages, your name, Mighty Boosh reference?

Yeah it's a boosh thing. Summat about the tram system that way and letting Trisha 'come to life'.

And yeah, it is the ending. It just keeps you listening.
