many moons ago i used to live near mcvitie's factory in levenshulme & the smell when they were baking ginger nuts was fantastic.

The smell of a tower block lobby - I don't mean piss, disinfectant or damp, I mean that distinct tower block smell which I can't really describe.
Also, the smell of ice cream mixed with deisel fumes when queuing at an ice cream van.

My bird had an aromatherapy massage and came back with some Patchouli oil - smelled so relaxing, we put it on some tissue under our pillows and we both had the best night sleep ever !
