Favourite 70’s and 80’s cars

My eldest daughter runs a car store, and has driven every type of supercar you can think of. She once phoned me to say she had to drop off some papers at the accountants, and did I fancy to meet her for a gourmet meal and coffee at McDs in Bredbury (yes, I know).
She turned up in one of her client's cars, a well known football player, and parked up. It was his 599 GTO! Needless to say, it attracted a lot of attention. Not the type of car one normally sees in Bredbury.
She used to work for Bentley, on the motorsport side, and has driven round almost every race track in Europe in the GT3 series cars of all the major works teams. Don't mention women drivers to her - she has the first part of the Racing Drivers licence, and could compete in pro-am races if she wanted.
The "best" I've managed was a brand new DB9, reversing it from one end of the store to the other. I couldn't even contort myself to get into a Lambo, no matter how hard I tried.
I'm more into comfort than style, driving a 10 year old (in March) Skoda Superb Elegance 1.8 TSI auto, which I've had from new.
Your daughter is cool.

Nothing tops an e type imo
(Horrible to drive though)

Although the Austin Princess gave it a run for it's money.
As a kid in the 70’s and 80’s our second family car was a Princess. It was sky blue and had the most amazing rear leg room! We thought it was like a limo :) I remember the rear suspension used to rise when you put the handbrake on.
I spent many comfy hours in the back on family holidays to Devon or Cornwall from Barrow.
