Practical for sure. You could roll of the roof and easily take out the backseat. Ideal for moving stuff or my friends standing up, drinking beer and watching the women in the red light district whole I needed to concentrate on driving. Friends …
My dad and I both loved The Longest Yard especially the car chase with the SM and it’s Maserati engine. Great stuff!

Not a 70's/80's car but close enough...
Circa 1965 Corvette is a huge favorite of mine. I'd buy one now - but lack of safety and high cost of maintenance of such an old car outweighs my love of the model.

Agree, the MK3 2 door in metallic blue with a black vinyl roof was a great looking car
