Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot

£150 for 100ml though, i've almost ran out..... Should have mentioned this a few weeks ago to the missus in time for xmas!
Heard some favourable reviews of Jo Malone scents.
Can you pick this up in high street stores (or at least test)?

The range is vast so gets a little convoluted to pin point.
I’ve a feeling I’d like the oud & bergamot…

You would certainly be able to test it, probably at John Lewis or Selfridges.

My favorite was always Antaeus, I think channel made it.
They stopped production for some reason.

Still have a bottle of this..

As a reformed shagger I can confirm that Issey Miyake was universally well received.

How the other half lives.

:)

I can only afford the copycat versions.
I should add i have a good friend who works in the supply chain to places like Harrods and selfridges so i get new and unused testers. Spice and Wood i got for 160 without a cap or retail box for example. It just comes in a plain brown cardboard tester box. No way could i justify paying retail for some of them. Most come with a cap at least but Creed don't often have caps on their testers.

More than happy to sort you out if you ever need anything from Memo, Mizensir, Maison Crivelli, Creed, Byredo. Byredo i sometimes have to wait for though. Drop us a pm anytime Mr Hat if you ever need and don't mind not having the retail box or for creed most likely no cap to.

Don’t apologise for being minted mate. Leave @TinFoilHat to his bottle of moody mandate and smelling like a tom cat has pissed on him

Evening!

Looking for a new scent next month.
Last few have been the following:

1: BVLGARI Man Wood Essence Eau de Parfum
(love this and use it sparingly but is running low)

2: Valentino UOMO INTENSE

3: Soma parfums Virde Redux - this is from somone I know (huge perfume nerd who's started his own perfum company). This was a Fougere/barbershop style perfume. I really liked it after having a few samples so bouhgt a bottle (got a good deal tbf) but I don't have that strong sense of wearing something special (perhaps common with thiis type of scent) but I could barely smell it on myself....like I wasn't wesring anything,

I love the Tom Ford and Creeds but those boys are top dollar.

Savage Dior seems a little too fruity and so commonplace.

Want to short list five then spray them on different parts of my arms before wandering around for a couple of hours to see how they evolve (or disappear).

Any recommends?

It’s called man wood? Imagine smelling of that

None of that shit is going to do what mine does. Apparently it’s

Invigorating and boundless, This iconic masculine fragrance captures the feeling of finding yourself before an infinite horizon.

We’re not done. Oh no. It gets sexier

Sharp-edged and powerful, it quickens the heartbeat with the possibility of total freedom. In this laser-sharp composition, a crackling whisper of ginger is brightened by the bitterness of grapefruit and softened by an addictive and sensual amber note

Like moths to a flame, doesn’t matter I look like a bulldog chewing a wasp.

Everyday cheaper end of the scale I go for Mont Blanc explorer (both black and blue ones). They are very fresh and citrus like. I get loads of comments when I wear the black one. Another one that everyone in the pub asks what I'm wearing is Prada Luna Rossa Black. All of them are EDP. They seem to last a lot longer than EDT, so worth the extra IMO.

If I'm feeling a bit flush Bulgari Wood Essence EDP.. Thing with this is it smells different on those paper things in the shop than it does on skin.
