It is bizarre, he looks like a time traveller or something. No emotion on what was the most incredible finish to a season ever. Maybe he was a QPR fan?

Loved the squad photo from circa 1970 with the trophies.....and some white trainers IIRC??

Prob my fav too..,got it framed somwhere..,white trainers and all..but not confident enough to correctly say which trophies were on it....its a brilliant,unique photo tho...

Interesting, isn't it, how all the photos you see of Franny and Colin, whether team or otherwise, they're never actually standing next to each other. There's always at least one person between them, often Buzzer. Just really incompatible temperaments, I think. Didn't stop them from playing brilliantly together, of course.

I don't think it was an outtake. I have the same version and I think it was the only one published. Team photos in those days were more relaxed than they are now. I remember a Millwall pic at that time with Eamonn Dunphy sat on the front row with his left bollock hanging out of his shorts.
