Favourite Horror Movies?

Halloween for me. Scared the shit out of me when I first watched it aged about 12. The music still gets me.

Best slasher film ever, Psycho was great but Halloween topped it for me. Shame about the remake though, thought it was terrible.

Halloween and Scream got panned by critics but they have aged well, in the sense they are more rated now than they was when they first came out.

How does it compare to the original is it good?

Not watched it yet mate. I've not seen the original and am only aware of the film because of this thread. Looked good off the trailer.
It was me who posted about that film. The original is a classic true story/slasher filmed in the real town where the murders happened same as the remake/sequel, which is getting good reviews. Plan on watching it tomorrow

I thought it was crackin mate, 9/10. though it certainly helps i'm familiar with the original case and the 76 movie, might not be as good to someone not bothered by either. Id say certainly check it out.
Theres a documentary done this year called Killer Legends thats available online that goes into the original case and the 76 film is also available online too. The remake is already on youtube also.
