Favourite Live Albums.

Interesting shout. By the criteria of improving on the studio versions, that album disappointed me; Child in time studio version better; Smoke On The Water, studio version and solo far better...
I thought they were at the top of their game at this time, unfortunately a year or so later it started to unravel.

Judas Priest..Unleashed in the East

Prefer World Wide Live & Priest Live myself but great shout re Heart of the City - was playing it only yesterday. For me that was peak Whitesnake, before he decided to get dressed up like a Christmas tree, and get in a load of pretty boy renta musos.

the Who Live at Hull , from same tour as Live at Leeds and possibly edges it.

Big Country - The final fling and Without a safety net are both belters.
Pearl Jam all mine are bought from the fan club so you pick the gigs so M/Cr and Leeds the first live festival after Roskilde, something special.
