is the winnerMaradonna 2nd v England mexico 86
Points off because it shouldn't have happened. Once he got away with the cheating on the first goal he probably thought he could get away with anything. Should have been a free kick to England after the handball goal and thereafter a different sequence of events.is the winner
all ifs and buts , it probably wouldn't have happened if the 1st goal would have been ruled out, but there is absolutely no doubt that his 2nd was the greatest goal ever scored, the way he collected the ball then the half turn, skipping past top defenders as if they wasn't there, Reid, Fenwick, Samson, Butcher & Shilton none of them got near him and then the following game in the semi v Belgium he scored another 2 amazing individual goalsPoints off because it shouldn't have happened. Also, check Peter Reid's slowcoach efforts to stop him. Fenwick was in there somewhere also. Like beating dustbins.
I always loved this one of Bergkamps
If I was English I’d be more annoyed that a goalie got out jumped by a midget. And the whole time D10S was looking to play in Valdano who was wide right. The run, the occasion, the background in relation to Falklands, the goal has so many layers. And he was probably on coke.Points off because it shouldn't have happened.
