Favourite player?

Kinkladze. The shining light in our darkest times.
The most skillful player I've ever seen in Blue.
He had his faults but the anticipation I felt before watching him play hasn't been matched since, not even with all our success..
 
It's so difficult to name one but, I'd die on a hill called Zabaleta.

Not the best player to play for us over the 55 years I've been going but, even taking into account all the local lads and skillful geniuses he's my man.

Always played like we would if we had the chance...blood, guts etc.

I remember him getting booked when 3-0 up when a throw-in was incorrectly given against us throwing the ball away against Leeds.

His last appearance at the ground was with West Ham, coming on as a sub full back he chased the ball into the penalty area to challenge Eddie on full-time. I think he wanted to end in front of his men in the SS.
 
Difficult question and I might give a different answer tomorrow but I always loved Fernandinho. He provided the platform so that others like Yaya, Nasri, Dave and Kev could do their best work.
He was a very decent player himself and had good attacking skills but was happy to do the hard work.
Always felt confident with him in the team and loved the way he would do tactical fouls which boiled red cartel piss.
Also a great leader.
