Had a mate in the early 90's who was a fanatic. M'well always remind me of some wild days and nights, Happy Mondays at Heaton Park, Spike Island, and vague memories of a free festival at Hopwood Hall, loads of bands on The High, The Railway Children? All fuelled by loads of Olde English and a few mushies. Happy days.

He was on his way to Aberdeen and was tapping up our best players while he still worked for us, sacking him was the only way to go even though we missed out on any compensation.
Or that's one of the many explanations, other rumours suck as shagging the chairmans wife and getting caught with his hand in the till are a bit more interesting.
