Hate to say "I told you so!" but, at 6.19 p.m. in the pre-match thread, I posted:-

"Too many fanny wipes here today. We're the world champions. They might have the odd threat, but, we're in good form; it's our ball, and we'll be keeping it for the most part! Though we struggle to keep clean sheets, I expect a comfortable win, as 'last 16' is their level.
Imho, it'll be like mid-table against the top of the league, so, I'm going 3-1 for City."

That goal was much needed to reflect the dominance. We will piss all over these at home though as they are shite.

Need to cut these sloppy goals out. Incredible how many we have given away this season.

Three really good goals. KDB & Foden linking up brilliantly for 1&3 and the finish from Bernardo was top class for the second. Nunes did well on the build up for the 3rd also.

Pretty solid performance overall against a physical team who left their feet in a few times.

Does the job nicely as a two goal lead lets us play the second leg at our tempo in between two big league games.
