He's alive as he had a piece in the Guardian a few days ago about the plight of Bury FC...... maybe he still thinks The Moston Rag Socks play at Gigg Lane and just can't find the new ground to interview anyone about the financial goings on at that fine example of a supporter run club.Has David Conn said anything yet?

Used to live in Bury and work on Dumers lane and had to walk past the pub where the sad fuckers used to stand outside drinking on Manchester Road when they played at Gigg.
Always made sure i wore my City shirt to wind the twats up and they always gave it large, told them i would never turn my back on City like they did with the rags, called them turncoat fc.
Have to admit i hate them more than anybody outside of the premier apart from Leeds.

A scrote ran onto the pitch on Saturday and was very brave in pushing the unsuspecting keeper in the back and then running off....
