FC United thread

6 points behind Guiseley who are 4th bottom. Guiseley have a game in hand and a way better goal difference so it is like 7 points ahead with a game in hand. Monday night is Curzon Ashton v Guiseley
Then come Hereford and Leamington who are both 9 points ahead with a game in hand and better goal differences too.

Draws in both these games will do just nicely.

Interestingly, York, who were on the fringes of the relegation scrap three weeks ago, have won four in a row, and are now only six points off a play-off spot.

Guiseley (on Monday) and Leamington (Tuesday) both lost their game in hand over the Moston Rag Socks.
So they remain 6 points behind 4th place Guiseley (who have a superior goal difference. So they have to win 3 games out of 9 just to overtake Guiseley - assuming Guiseley don't get any points themselves during that period of 3 games.

Bastard, I thought they'd gone bust. The only reason anyone would post on this thread, other than a match day, is to say they have chained the gates up. Bastard.

Credit due to the Moston Rag Socks. Won 3-1 away at play off placed Telford. They leap frogged Ashton United into 3rd bottom on goal difference and are now just 3 points behind 4th bottom placed Guiseley although the latter have a huge better goal difference.
Guiseley have a game in hand as their game v 3rd top Spennymoor was postponed today....
The gloom has been lifted and a bit of optimism is creeping in down at Pallet Park...

I was hoping & expecting them to get a twatting today. Going to be tight.

I take solace at giving the ground the finger on my way to/from ours today.
