FC United thread

Agree in theory.
I wouldn't trust the Splitters over anything, as they cannot deal with the truth, only empty promises and blatant lies. They are also always desperate for any publicity.
But, why the 1958 Group would get involved with the hypocritical, over-hyped FCUM puzzles me ?
When the Bucketeers started up, the main players were the hierarchy behind IMUSA. Very politically motivated who had defeated Sky in their attempted takeover.

Once they defected and formed the Tribute Club, it left those behind without any strong leaders or those with the ability to take charge.
Not even sure if IMUSA is still going, though MUST stepped up and became the main force of opposition and then this 1958 mob came out from under some stone.
The main players forming the Rag Socks have all since been sent packing for being found out for being the Charlatans they were.

I guess over time the rift is healing as the founding Bucketeers are no longer at the helm or involved with the day to day goings on at Pallet Park. It was they that the fans remaining behind to fight the Glazer’s had the most beef with, rather than those fans who blindly followed them, who are left running the shit show now.

Will be interesting to see what the attendance is on Saturday (and again at the following home game) and to see how long this new “love in” lasts - as well as how much the media give attention to these attention seekers once more…..

Thank you.
Wasn't fully aware of the starting up personnel.
Perhaps FCUM will become, once again, a glorious infighting disaster.
Although the feckers somehow always seem to survive...

Two sides of the same coin?

The bucketeers are calling it a lively start to the day of protest, even though there’s barely enough of them to hold up the bedsheets….

The MEN had “boots on the ground” at the protest, I guess that’s as close to impartial reporting as we’re gonna get. Anyway it wasn’t a complete wash out, despite getting attention in the national media for the media whores down at pallet park as many as 300 of them turned up to protest before the game. I’m sure that’ll have them shaking in their boots in Florida, definitely not a pointless, irrelevant protest & not just an opportunity to sell a couple of extra pints from the attention seekers.

It’s a shame the MEN can’t do a piece on how much they owe us Manchester rate payers so perhaps everyone can see behind the curtain at just what a shit show they are
