FC United Thread

*Goes and has a look*
Ha! And 3rd bottom placed Ashton United beat top of the table Chorley away 1-0. Guiseley (4th bottom) lost though

Alty won 6-0 at Curzon Ashton :O
We love you Ashton..we do !! My best mates gone to Southport today..loved keeping him in touch with the Ashton score :)

6 points behind Guiseley who are 4th bottom. Guiseley have a game in hand and a way better goal difference so it is like 7 points ahead with a game in hand. Monday night is Curzon Ashton v Guiseley
Then come Hereford and Leamington who are both 9 points ahead with a game in hand and better goal differences too.

Draws in both these games will do just nicely.

Interestingly, York, who were on the fringes of the relegation scrap three weeks ago, have won four in a row, and are now only six points off a play-off spot.

Guiseley (on Monday) and Leamington (Tuesday) both lost their game in hand over the Moston Rag Socks.
So they remain 6 points behind 4th place Guiseley (who have a superior goal difference. So they have to win 3 games out of 9 just to overtake Guiseley - assuming Guiseley don't get any points themselves during that period of 3 games.

Bastard, I thought they'd gone bust. The only reason anyone would post on this thread, other than a match day, is to say they have chained the gates up. Bastard.
