FC United thread

Yes, no excuse for such a poor crowd.
An sure that most of the other teams in their League would take a much higher than average "away crowd" to the Splitters ?
Am waiting for the next round of the FA Cup to get them some extra BBC Salford attention, perhaps Sly Simon Stone doing his usual red-obsessed analysis ?
Blowing smoke up their rebellious arses, praising their resilience and single mindedness in showing the football world a real alternative to the big bucks ruining the game at the higher level and portraying the perfect example of how a fan owned club can and does work.

With zero mention of being £900,000 in debt to the council and local council tax payers…..

Walking into Sale town centre early yesterday evening, had a double take as a bloke walked past the other way wearing a replica shirt of theirs.

The Rag Socks win again!
And in doing so, managed to do what “Big Red” failed to do the other week, in beating a team from Cleethorpes!
Piss poor attendance again with 1,679 Bucketeers turning up on another weekend with the Rags not playing.
Well, Cleethorpes Town are actually based in Grimsby, whereas Grimsby Town…. Oh you know the rest.

As predicted by many an astute poster on BM early season success for the bucketeers and the bbc duly publish a puff piece on one of their players. So predictable.

Was bound to happen.
But, if you look closely under the article heading it "says" Liverpool.
Have the BBC managed to shoe-horn in both of the Red Arse cheeks with this fecking irrelevant, inconsequential pile of shite ?

Yep and I’m almost positive it’s nothing but a re-hash of a similar article they did on him a few years back when he was part of “Wayne Rooney’s Derby County”. Money for old rope.

That’s a shame.
The buckets will be out next home game for the “Missing FA Cup Games” and to subsidise the money they could have received from TV fees (from the game they would have objected to have to play not on a 3pm Saturday in a futile protest, pointing the finger with one hand and taking the money with the other….)
