FC United thread

The bucketeers beat a pub team from Doncaster to make it through to the next round of the FA cup this afternoon. You know that the bbc will be giving live coverage to their next round tie!!

BBC and ITV don’t have the Cup anymore.

It’s TNT from this season.
Fecking worse !
They will try and resurrect Wio & get Scholsey to give their expert analysis.
Will bet on the Splitters getting a home tie as well.
Thankfully, the principled FCUM Co-operative club, will turn down the TNT "dirty money" and play it at 3pm on the designated Saturday, as they stated they always would do, when they were formed...

Their opponents are a former pit team rather than a pub team!
Their original name is Rossington Main Collery.
I’ve a friend whose dad worked at the collery

Been there to see a family member play (for the opposition).
Was obviously a community club, that will have struggled with the pits closing.
Think they will have done well to have got this far in the FA Cup.
Remember, the Splitters, with their finances (inc loans and debts owed), should have walked this tie.
Let's hope they draw someone away, who tonk them...

Or at home that tonk them

The Rag Socks win again!
And in doing so, managed to do what “Big Red” failed to do the other week, in beating a team from Cleethorpes!
Piss poor attendance again with 1,679 Bucketeers turning up on another weekend with the Rags not playing.
Yes, their best start in God knows when, yet the vile cunts aren't even breaking even on the gate. And that with no big cunts game this weekend.

Yes, no excuse for such a poor crowd.
An sure that most of the other teams in their League would take a much higher than average "away crowd" to the Splitters ?
Am waiting for the next round of the FA Cup to get them some extra BBC Salford attention, perhaps Sly Simon Stone doing his usual red-obsessed analysis ?
