Hilarious. I thought one of the main reasons why they formed in the first place was to rail against the commercialisation of the sport and here they are with the begging bowl out pleading for businesses - any business - to sponsor them.Exactly how it was written and posted on Linkedin.
Commercial Sponsors evening 7th July
On the 7th July FC United is holding a Commercial Sponsors evening where you can visit Broadhurst Park, see the facilities for yourself, and enjoy our hospitality while CEO Natalie Atkinson takes you through the benefits and the real return on investment that sponsoring the club can achieve for your organisation.
FC United is one of the best known football clubs outside the league, with a level of coverage un-paralleled in non-league football, not only in the northwest, but also nationally and internationally with attention and significant coverage and fan groups from Brazil to China.
By taking one of our great value commercial packages, you will further your brand awareness both locally, nationally and internationally for a remarkably low investment.
This widespread coverage, combined with the club's commitment to providing a sustainable model for football clubs, and rooted in their local community makes association a very rounded prospect, and one that for a company that’s looking to not only increase it’s brand exposure, but also to realise the corporate and social responsibility aims so important to so many forward thinking businesses.
With packages starting from a few hundred pounds, all the way to being a club sponsor, we offer your business the opportunity to stretch it’s advertising budget a very long way, as it’s fair to say that FC have captured the attention over the 17 years since being established
From our modern stadium is 10 minutes from Manchester City Centre, or 5 minutes from the M60, and is ideally placed for local businesses and those further afield to meet and entertain, so join us on the 7th to see what FC can do for you
