FC United Thread

Surely not?

We were told by every Rag Shill journalist who jumped on the FC bandwagon, this is how a fans owned football club should be run.

The funny thing is, you don’t hear anything from those Rag Shill journalists anymore.
My all time favourite regarding this was when that City-hating **** Michael Calvin penned an article just after the Mini Me twats beat Rochdale in the FA Cup way back in 2010. The bile he spouted about us was off the scale even by the usual shite standards that we see from the likes of Delooney, Harris, etc. He was wanking off like fuck about the atmosphere created by FC Scum fans at Spotland and how they're the perfect example of how a football club should be run, whilst simultaneously saying that we were the perfect example of how a football club should not be run. He tried to curry some favour by saying that City's tribute for the recently departed Malcom Allison was handled wonderfully well but ultimately it was a vitriolic hatchet job on our owner, yet despite slagging him off he said Mansour should've donated £1 million to FC Scum instead of spending £1 billion on City! Funny how we don't see the prick eulogising over the Splitter twats these days. Here's the link:

Imagine the jobs they could have created for themselves with the £1m donation…… they’d still be in debt now.

You can add David Conn too with his wankfest of a chapter in his book Richer Than God.
He was in bed with the (then) board and hasn't mentioned them in any article since the board all jumped before they were pushed after being found out for being the charlatans that they were.

That article is hilarious reading now.
The author refers to them as "Class Warriors'' when in fact they were champagne socialists and states "money Is now siphoned from football" - rather ironic when it was revealed that's exactly what the ex board members were doing!

And then this gem
"The empowerment of a community, rather than the enrichment of opportunists"
The author brilliantly enraptured exactly who the club was being run by. Chances and opportunists.
Now imagine what would have happened to the million quid had the Good Shiekh followed this misguided journalists suggestion and donated that sum to this bunch of charlatans.......
Answers on a postcard.

The brazen beggars would probably have gone to Manchester City Council to ask for a £1 million "matched funding" or loan.
Does anyone know what has happened to the original splitters board ?
Do they still support their punk football vision ?

I found that book to be quite an interesting read........until I got to that particular chapter. In total disgust I immediately threw the book into the bin.

The club was ripped apart in 2016 when a lot of board members & supporters were “forced out” of the club when the rest of them got fed up of them. They even interrupted one of their games with a pitch invasion & a sack the board type banner.

Thank you.
Disappointed to hear that Trafford have taken a former splitter into their midst.
It's a cracking club, hidden away in Urmston.
Always try and get to Shawe View when back in Mcr.
Their pitch is a beaut...

Roll up, roll up!
Date for your diary!
Friday 8th November to commemorate the 14th anniversary of beating Rochdale in the FA Cup!
Come along and watch a re-run of the game that they objected to being live on TV!
Meet the players and manager from back in the day.
And part with £20 for a hot pot supper lol

You can tell how many of their fans have lost interest and fucked off elsewhere. Their big reunion celebration to commemorate 20 years of the club is flopping. as of the board meeting on the 28th of October they’d only sold around 30 tickets.
