I'm going to claim 3 for the family then not turn up so their attendance suffers, oh hang on that's been happening anyway!!
Only click on this thread hoping they've gone under, ah well time yet.

Well, well, well….. it was nearly curtains for everybody’s favourite non league club, who were issued with a winding up petition this week, much to the outrage of their members who, as usual were kept in the dark.

‘’There was an issue with HMRC as they had been corresponding with us at a wrong address. We received notification from them today however, and a payment was immediately made. We have spoken to HMRC and the petition (which seems to have been lodged on a dormant company), is being withdrawn tomorrow.
HMRC have now updated our details on their system, so that we will receive all correspondence from them in future.’’

‘’What was the amount paid?’’

‘’This. How are we at the stage of making emergency tax payments? Mind if we didn't even know we had a fucking van on our books, I shouldn't be surprised.
Everyone knows we are broke, but we were under the Impression that we know the lay of the land at least. How can we possibly owe HMRC money? As asked, how much exactly?’’

‘’It was for £9k and was paid today as soon as the club was aware.’’

So did anybody from BM actually get a free M40/M9 ticket and go to the FCUM game today. I seriously considered it at the start of the week,as I am very partial to a freeby and I wanted to add Broadhurst Fields to the list of grounds I have attended. Plus the wife was working this afternoon at a Residential Care Home just around the corner in New Moston,so I was going to drop her there at 2.20pm and then walk to the match.
But in the end I decided to give it a miss,as I know I would have hated listening to them singing their anti- City songs, and I just couldn't give any support to a team that plays in red shirts, and has United in their club name.
So in the end I just thought FCUM.
