The council received 5,635 letters of support (2404 with an M40 postcode) and 2,226 letters of objection (1369 with an M40 postcode) which is pretty much the only evidence anyone has of numbers. And yes there were allegations from both parties in relation to people using addresses of friends and family but nobody is in a position to prove this happened and to what extent if it did so there ya go. End of the day it was the council's decision and all reasons for support and objection were considered and they obviously felt that the build was of benefit to the area, some agreed and some didn't.What proof do you have of that? In relation to the research, what was the sampling frame, sampling approach and methodology? Profile of respondents? What was the weighting approach that was used?
I believe that most initial concerns have failed to materialise anyway, certainly in relation to noise, (reason we had to roof all 4 sides and we've got noise cancelling cladding) anti social behaviour, (only instances thus far have been anti FCUM) and traffic (no noticeable impact).
