One of their founding board members was ‘Another’ convicted MUFC hooligan. He was jailed for 15 months. Luc Zentar was their (FCUM)Secretary, but after being convicted for the blob shop episode with City (Whilst FCUM board member & secretary), he resigned. https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...er-news/spy-cameras-capture-hooligans-1166132
Correct, although he returned in 2021 & was re-elected to their board alongside Seddon. Wonder how many other non league teams had two convicted football hooligans on their board at the same time?

Luc’s dad, Remi has also been heavily involved in FC including chairing a lengthy & critical investigation into the clubs charitable food hub. Hi lights were, the money that went missing via people handing out unadvertised management jobs to their mates, dodgy expense claims & the fraudulent furlough claims that saw them paying back £24,000 to HMRC.

Zentar senior is also familiar with the inside of a court room although unusually for FC officials not from the inside of the dock. He’s a highly respected QC, I expect he’s proud of his convicted football thug offspring.

apt lyrics...

Particularly:
'Her son is innocent, he can't do wrong
'Cos Dad's a judge and knows exactly what the job of judging's all about'

I had no idea he’d returned, despite serving 15 months for affray

The whole episode gets worse! It’s like a soap opera - and yet the council still bankrolled them.
I remember one big accusation was there wasn’t a safe in the stadium and after games one of the board members would simply take the money home in a bag and (allegedly) take it to the bank on Monday mornings……

The club is a law unto itself - it needs a Sheriff in town!

It needs an independent public enquiry behind locked doors.

MCC need publicly petitioning....shocking !!

It really is a piss take ?

MCC have cut so many jobs and community projects and come out with there is no money to fund them anymore
Bonfire Night, New Year's Eve, Youth clubs, Public Parks, Road Sweepers, Grass cutters, Public Bins, everything we used to take for granted has gone from our communities.

This lot (FCUM) needs to be made accountable for its own founding, They Spout Off it's a fan-run club and controls its own finances with a selected board, So let the fan-elected board members invest their own money into the club

That is how it should work and does for all the other non-league clubs, Small local sponsorships and fans owe money and a chairman that wants to give something back to their community

They have to be unsettled and unseated.

Loans and interest repaid by standing order every quarter for 12 months.

Thereafter self funding or bust !!

Its how everyone else operates.

This thread is fascinating. What a fucking shower of shit they are !

They’re slagging off the rags for increasing their ticket prices, while also they’ll be voting to increase their own on Sunday. Next year they’re wanting £200 for a season ticket with a donation of £100 on top of that, a lot of emphasis on them needing the donation. £300 for a season ticket & £15 a game. If they get relegated other teams in that league are charging £8 this year.

Then they wonder why mostly haven’t embraced them & turn up in droves to watch the shit tribute act

The Inland Revenue really need to look at this bollocks around the “suggested donation” as it is clearly - and apparently a legal way - of avoiding paying tax on the full payment.
What other line of business can you buy something from, and the business says “oh I’ll knock £100 off the price but if you want you can donate £100 back to me”.

It’s the equivalent of someone fixing your car or painting your house and knocking a little bit off the fee as long as you don’t want a receipt……

This club has been going cap in hand to the council, begging for tax payers money, yet at the same time operates around a system based on a tax dodging scam….. Scruffy Jim at “Big Red” will be proud of them.

“No income tax, no VAT, no money back, no guarantee……”
