FC United thread

Snivelling article by Jamie Jackson that manages to gloss over a number of key problems and leave a number of things unsaid: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ars-fc-united-manchester-united-glazer-regime
“I met a couple of lads called John-Paul O’Neill and Luc Zentar in a bowling green in Chorlton and talked football. From there, everything moved very quickly.”
=======
Both names above are former MUFC firm (Hooligans) and one, (if not both) has been jailed for football violence

I thought the hoolie was Tony O’ Neil?
Does a video channel now!

Also made me laugh “meeting at a bowling green in Chorlton” rather than meeting at The Bowling Green (the pub) in Chorlton.

Different Hoolie. Tony O’Neil is my age and from Wythenshawe. This John Paul is much younger and from Failsworth I think. Not related, I’m sure. Tony has a son Kieran who is a well known red.

These pricks could have started a truly independent club with no links to City or the rags. That was their big fuck up. Say like the old Manchester Central. Sorry but they’re a bunch of cnuts!
Something simple like Manchester Football Club, could have been welcoming to everyone, but nope.

I think it will become green fields again.
Running costs are not being made, money owed, fans not turning up, it's a bloody mess

It's time for them and fans, come on Dorothy click them Ruby shoes, there's no place like home

Yes, probably the best outcome would be for MCC to recall the loan/money owed, which should mean the Splitters collapsing.
The danger with that maybe they get another home (shared ground ?) and will be seen as some "victims of a miscarriage of justice".
I fear these snakes would twist it so that MCC are portrayed as heartless bullies, ruining grassroots football.
Also, wouldn't it cost a lot if money for MCC to rip down Pallet Park, clear the land and rewild it ?

I’ve said this before, I’m surprised they haven’t simply decided to go bust, wipe the debt and then a group of them go cap in hand to the council saying “we’ve set up a new club called Fans Football Club United Of Manchester and are looking for a place to play. Do you have anywhere vacant, preferably in North Manchester? Oh. And we’ll do community work too if you are willing to pay us to deliver the work?……”

Stop giving them ideas.

I know JP. Take away his Rag allegiances and he's not a bad kid. Known him years. Stopped him getting leathered outside the main stand/north stand bit in the last Maine Road Derby.

European disappointed for Big Red and the Mini Me’s over the past 10 days.
Losers in the Europa and Fenix Trophy finals.
The Bucketeers ended up 17th (two off relegation) while the Glazer Boys are currently 16th (two off relegation).

Both clubs up to their respective eye balls in debt. One a perfect example of businessmen without a clue running a football club and the other a perfect example of why fans shouldn’t run their own club.

It’s wonderful isn’t it , just read a rag post that said he’s not felt as bad as this since 1974 , they really are in the cack .

Think this is an ideal opportunity to ask mates who are fans of the Trafford Tramps, what they suggest is needed "to put things right" ?
It will be interesting to know who they now blame ?

# SIr Scruffy Jim has ousted the Glazers in charge of the football business
# Got rid of Ten Bob, replacing him with the best young manager in Europe
# The players (Mainyoo is the best young player in the Premier League, Bruno is the outstanding midfielder, Onana an excellent ball-playing goalie) ?
# The Media ? Are they now being ignored ?

JP O’Neil is the ex Red Issue twat who has now gone full conspiracy theorist batshit

Roll up, roll up, roll up!
For the next round of fundraising we are auctioning the chair that Eric sat in!
And what about the coffee mug that Eric drank out of?
Finally, the computer mouse that Eric twice looked at.
Make your bid to own these “most have” sought after items

Great news, for just £20 plus postage you can have a shit t shirt commemorating one of the owners. He gets FC so much he just loves it & wants to be part of it. Don’t ask anyone why it’s taken twenty years for him to bother becoming a member
