End of the month means the next lot of reports come out of pallet park.

First up despite only being ten years old the floodlights need replacing. who do you think the self entitled bucketeers think should pay for 70% of that replacement cost? Obviously they’re expecting the premier league to bankroll the majority of the costs as they shouldn’t actually have to fund anything themself or be sustainable.

*I think premier league supporting grassroots football club is a good thing I’d rather any money that city contribute is spent on other more deserving clubs that haven’t had such massive handouts & preferential treatment from the council. I shouldn’t think those in charge at the swamp would be delighted on the premier league giving money to a joke of a club who are always shouting about how terrible the league and united are.

The accounts are out for April as well, the club had a good result after predicting a profit of just £2,000 (remember from next month onwards they need to raise £125,000 a year to cover the £75,000 to repay the council & £50,000 to replace the plastic pitch they make most of their money out of by renting to local users) they actually made £14,800 profit. Expect the bucketeers will be celebrating they’ve finally turned the corner and everything will be fine…,

Except they got bailed out by the mighty Cheadle town (two leagues below them) hosting bury at pallet park and attracted the biggest crowd of the season and £10,000 of food and beer sales + £5,000 in ground hires. So without Cheadle town propping them up (which won’t happen next year as bury were promoted) they would have struggled to break even again this month.

The year to date profit of £34,200 against the budgeted profit of £37.800 sounds quite positive until you remember they’ve pulled themselves out of the shit in the last few months. the £15,000 from the Cheadle/Bury game, Februarys £43,000 donation and the £23,000+ missing matches donations were all not budgeted for. They had a few windfalls & that’s managed to paper over the cracks in the business plan for now. they’re still not sustainable & they need to start generating that £125,000 annual profit in under a month

One slight problem.
Even if the Premier League, Scruffy Jim or Uncle Tom Cobbley pay 70% of the cost, fc skint of Manchester haven't got a penny never mind 30% of the cost.
Is the Council or a bank going to lend them the money when they are already in huge debt ?

Oh and as allegedly money goes missing at fuckem, I'd want a fully audited and open process to ensure none of the floodlight money went missing

Didn’t see this posted last week.
So a profit of 34K simply because someone donated 45K and fans chipped in with 22K. Therefore without those 2 sources, the club lost 33K.
The Cheadle game may have brought in 10K in food and beer sales but that isn’t 10K profit.
Carry on shaking is the message here
