FC United thread

They called a game off today around half past one as it rained. Stand by for the bleating about the missing match and the buckets being shaken for them with no thought for those travelling up from rushall
Oh dear - and another piss poor mid week attendance when the game will be rescheduled will result in another loss making game….. tick tock

Won't someone think of the pies.
The bloody pies are bloody old,
The bloody chips are bloody cold,
No bloody nurserys bloody sang,
No bloody buckets bloody rang,
No bloody splitters in bloody canary scarves,
No bloody plastic punk football played with a bloody frown,
Because no bloody fucker went to bloody Pallet town.

Very good!

If the Glazers sell up do these lot fold and go back to the Toilet?

Probably not - be hypercritical if they did (and of course we all know they aren’t hypocrites in any way shape or form).
They would demand the club was bought by fans, not an individual and each fan had equal ownership of the club (although some more equal than others) and that the club followed the Bucketeers model of running a club on the moral and financially sound footing as their utopian 100% fan owned club.

We were founded in 2005 by supporters who believed football had lost its way. Since then, we’ve built something different — a club that’s owned by its fans, run for its community, and proud to do things the right way.

For just £25 a year, you can become a co-owner and have a real say in how the club is run. You’ll vote on big decisions, elect the Board, help shape our identity – even choose the kit. One member, one vote. No hidden power, no private owners – just football, owned by the people who care most.

You will also help to con nearly £100k out of your fellow Mancunians via MCC.

That’s the glossy version. The version David Conn wanks over.

You left a club heavily in debt to form a club that is now heavily in debt. Don’t see anything different there.

All this one member, one vote, every one equal blah blah when the reality has been more akin to Animal Farm with mates of those running the place put on the payroll (wasn’t Andy Walker a Boro fan?)

Again “all it takes is £25 and you are in……”
You forget the following guilt trip to subscribe to monthly direct debit payments and dropping money into various buckets for various “save the club” campaigns or to buy a new washing machine.
Why have crowds gone from 5000 twenty years ago to under 2000? That’s what you should be spending your time analyzing, rather than spending it on Blue Moon!

Finally, you say it’s a club run for its community? What community is that?
United fans in Moston and M40? For such a community club you lot actively go out of your way to alienate City fans in the area - yet scratch your head wondering why local folk are not piling into the stadium even on days when it is free to get in!

Thought the debt was nearer £900k ?
Gates are dropping around 1,500, despite a good start in the League.
Wonder when they will stop singing songs against City, Leeds, Liverpool ?
An egotistical, marketing folly that has seen many tens of thousands of pounds, disappearing to pay people in overpaid, unnecessary roles...

Yeah, I got the wrong number of zeroes.
