Profit means nothing if it’s built on squeezing your own fans. Football clubs should serve their supporters, not exploit them.

What about
Attempting to break even means nothing if it is built on squeezing your own fans.....
Or paying back the City Council means nothing.

It didn't need the extra crap about squeezing your fans

Ha ha ha has anyone clicked on the link for Captain Armsling’s dinner. They are holding it at the Football Museum!

Includes a Q&A hosted by none other than Pete Boyle!
I don't get why they aren't hosting it in their own function room with all profits going to the club. Why spend money hiring the expensive venue and then charging fans the extra amount to cover that fee. The whole point of fundraising is to raise funds, not to spunk money being raised on a needless venue.

The usual tone deaf bucketeers are at it again. This time the sanctimonious pricks reminding us all that profit means nothing if it’s built on squeezing your own fans.

In other news once you’ve all chipped in to the latest missing matches crowdfunder, or spoke to any board member to offer an unusually substantial donation don’t miss the chance to buy a dinner for an evening with Bryan Robson for the bargain price of only £99 whilst the super saver early bird tickets are about.

I wonder how much captain cripple is charging SCUM for the "privilege" of listening to his awful, boring voice for a few minutes.

Completely agree.
But, they are still an egotistical bunch of charlatans who are desperate to be considered as part of Non-League football's elite.
Despite standing still, football wise, for several seasons, they have somehow managed to "convince" fans of other teams that they are still moving onwards & upwards.
Hosting an event at the National Football Museum must cost a lot of money ?
But, like the Trafford Tramps, they will expect and probably succeed, in someone else (Manchester City Council) paying for it.
Shameless self-promotional con-merchants...

They’ve just announced they’re planning on upping the membership cost from £25 to £60 a year in July. They’re proposing a 140% increase on their membership on the very same day they’ve been saying Profit means nothing if it’s built on squeezing your own fans. Football clubs should serve their supporters, not exploit them

How much do they owe MCC? There is no chance of any profit when you're in debt
FCUM are a joke and spouting off about Big Brother ? didnt the founding members and selected board run off with the money hahahaha, did that ever get paid back hahaha

What is the point in FCUM? Their fans are still United fans and go and watch them play at OT or they are spouting off in pubs when watching United games. 100% numpties

Perhaps they’re planning on starting to repay the loans from MCC.

No, I know.

Or maybe it’s a case of, "Do as I say, not as I do".

I wonder if he will that oh so funny story about when he was with Trevor Francis.
I saw them and approached Trevor, told him I was a Blue and asked for his autograph. He signed a piece of paper and as he was handing it back to me, Robson stepped forward and said 'I suppose you'll want mine'.
Without thinking I replied 'what the fuck would I want yours for'. I then turned and walked off. My mate said Robsons face was a picture and Trevor was nearly collapsed on the floor he was laughing that much.

I bet he does because he's a good egg.

Ha ha ha ha membership and season tickets for NEXT season go on sale TODAY!!!!!
Absolute piss takers.
Any fool parting with their money will simply be shoring up this seasons shortfalls, meaning come pre-season the manager has no budget remaining to improve the squad, resulting in the board announcing more bucket shakes……
What are these two council officials on the board doing? The club is an utter sham.

Am I right in thinking the silly fuckers have got to buy a membership to enable them to buy a season ticket? Or is the much revered and coveted membership card just for people who want to buy match day tickets ?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the football museum will give the room to them for nothing
Like the BBC, that institution is riddled with them

Membership is to enable them to be a “co-owner” and gives them the opportunity to attend meetings and AGM’s and to vote at meetings etc.
Nothing to do with buying tickets

I thought they were all members in the first place ? what is their motto? Built by the fans, Owned by the fans

I want my Irish 2p back. I threw in the bucket at ASDA about 10 years ago

Their motto is “Our Club, Our Rules”.

Only every time they try and enforce their rules (like not playing a live game for the benefit of TV) they get slapped down a peg and put in their place and comply - with some futile protest at said game to appear edgy.

I dont get why they are bothered about big rags if as they say they are a breakaway club.

It's never been a breakaway club ? Their fans are still United fans who go and pay for tickets and merchandise and go to watch them at OT or in pubs, even on Big screens at their own ground hahahaha
They are a tribute act where 11 blokes go on the field and kick a ball in a rag like kit and the fans sing the same nursery rhymes that they did years ago during the good old days of Baconface
