FC United Thread

The comedy keeps on coming....

So now a group of fans on one forum (details below courtesy of a Blue mate of mine who lurks there, pissing himself laughing) are miffed that the club doesn't have road signs on Oldham Road etc directing people to the ground and the fact there are no signs outside Pallet Park advertising the next game etc.
So they want two signs like this - and off they go again throwing more money at the club. The club could fold any week soon, but Hey! They will have two smart signs outside!
They are like drug addicts who just can't resist the latest fix in throwing good money away on a bad product - or like Morrissey fans who keep shelling out for flights and concert tickets, knowing the gig will be cancelled.... ;)
One even suggests that on seeing this sign kids will mither their parents to take them..... like the kids can't currently see the fucking stadium in front of their eyes!

Pricing and Pay on the Gate' needs to be clearly visible whenever it's POTG
Some guidance how buy tickets on few occasions its not.
Also lot of nonfootballing events we need to advertise to passersby.

Great idea. Will look much more welcoming and hopefully bring in much needed revenue. As others have said, the potg has to be stressed. I can imagine passing kids mithering their parents to take them. Cheaper, more fun and much healthier for all than a Saturday spent in KFC. In for £25 here.

Like it, count me in for a score.

Pissing money away on things that don't really provide a return on investment. It's in both Raggy clubs DNA, perhaps they could get Paul Pogba to stand in Oldham road with a sandwich board directing the self righteous numpties to the ground, most work he's done all season.

I note that one of the posters is from South Lincolnshire. Now I fully accept the Trafford mob has fans from all over Britain, we do, it is part of life, but when you get pissed off with your club/Glazer why dont you jack them in and support a local club ? The truth is they still are connected at the hip to Trafford F.C. they can't go and support a real team, what a sad wanker, (full kit ?)
My friend sends me a few of their comical posts.... the regulars are named 'NZred', 'wyre forest red', the aforementioned south Lincs and 'Preston red' and 'baldy' from Kings Lynn!

And their anthem is ''I am an FC fan, I am a Mancunian......''

Maybe the council would like a 'free' local community venue they can utilise and hire out to other clubs? (Rags reserves?) and put it under leisure services for the 3G pitch etc.... you never know, the council may secretly be waiting to pick it up for nothing!

FCUM go bust then manchester city council sell it to oldham fc hahahahaha they was thinking of moving to a site at the bottom of broadway and oldham road

the amount of money already been pumped into FCUM is a joke and for a fan base club how many other clubs would get the council backing like them clowns it will be a carboot market in 2 years time hahahahahhahaha

A car boot market, as advertised on the signs they kindly left behind bwah ha ha ha

The more likely scenario would be the council take it over and let fcum use it for free, well small fees. Council left with the costs and burden of maintenance but at least they save the club.

Thats what I think, too many pensions at risk to do otherwise with a shit fest that would follow them going under.

I saw these jokers get mullered by AFC Fylde the other week.
Stupid team with their kit which looks like a knock off rag kit from Bury Market.

Horrible fans too

Re the above post ^^ The important bit is ..... 'that the FA have written to us for a club response for the 4th time this season following the recent pitch invasion at Gainsborough'

Would anyone else get treated so leniently. 4 times this season ! it is only half way through the bloody season, are they going for some form of record ? The should admit they have scum fans who have been banned by their parent club (ooops sorry the other lot that they pretend to despise) and they are still living in the 70's and the authorities should clamp down on them with financial penalties.

they do what they want (don't you know the song) hahahaha

we have some really good league football clubs in the north west bury oldham rochdale all would love the amount of money and media FCUM get from people and councils let me just put them right (FCUM) THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MANCHESTER UNITED so why all the media and backing from manchester city council. sport england. lotto.for a non league club that is being run by hooligans they are doing ok. i would bet both city and united don't have that amount of arrests over the past 4 years they have

pull the plug on them now before even more money is wasted and give it back to the people and use the money it will generate from carboots markets and open air gigs for music and other sports like rugby hockey tennis but FCUM now have to put up or move on

I'd say that you'd have to ask the FA how many pitch invasions other clubs have had and what punishments have been handed out.

Four times in a season is madness though.

Why would anyone be so excited at a pretend, amateur football game to run on to the pitch?
